AEB: Russia’s new car sales fall 23% to 119,485 in September

MOSCOW, Oct 6 (PRIME) -- Russia’s sales of new light cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) fell by 22.6% on the year to 119,485 in September, the Association of European Businesses (AEB) said on Wednesday.

In January–September, new car sales grew by 15.1% on the year to 1.26 million.

Sales of Russia’s largest carmaker AvtoVAZ halved on the year to 17,200 cars in September, and grew by 18% to 268,800 vehicles in January–September.
